Izakaya Reviews

They just opened one week ago and are already doing a great job! The food is excellent and at a great price. The staff is very friendly and on top of everything for you. The entire restaurant looks great, they did a very nice job remodeling it.I really like that they are open until 10 pm weeknights and 11 pm weekends perfect for me to have dinner there after I’m off work.

I can’t wait to go back and try some more of their food, if you like good Japanese food I highly recommend them! (Rick L.Sacramento, CA)

This place used to be a Chinese Restaurant named Jumbo! The new owner took this place over and remodeled it. Now it is very pleasant to sit inside where you can enjoy some wine/sake and food. I had a beef noodle soup and it was very good and the portion can be a little bigger for my belly! he he! You won’t be dispointed if you try their soup/noodle. The owner is always there as a sushi chef, Damond Lee, whom can hook you up with some sushi. I have not try their sushi so there is no way to tell how good they really are but will be my next mission. Come over and try this place out!( E L. West Sacramento, CA)

This newly opened restaurant is fairly good but it has more work to do. Its website is completely jacked up. Nothing works and it uses some kind of foreign language. Furthermore, the bar area is basically a dead zone. There goes more profits for the owner!

On the plus side, service was good and the ramen/udon were also good. They also used real Japanese items to decorate the restaurant. Izakaya needs to advertise and make its website functional ASAP. (Food S. Davis, CA)

When I first came here, I didn’t know what to expect because I usually go to a Japanese restaurant for sushi rolls or sashimi but they didn’t have a whole lot of choices. I decided to try it out anyways and I was not disappointed. The House Special Ramen was flavorful and the texture of the noodles was really fresh and chewy. I also ordered the Pocket roll and Salmon Sashimi and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, the fish was fresh, and the customer service was top notch. I would highly suggested Izakaya to anyone I know. What is amazing is that they hadn’t been opened a week yet and everything was so great.(Yumi L. Elk Grove, CA)
